The gender segregation doesn't make sense anymore. For example, at my cousin's, 90% of the gifts she got were actually for him - she doesn't cook, and was utterly bored. We had to wait until the men came back to see the groom oooh and aahh over the pots & pans.

Seriously, isn't it a very archaic notion that only the women care about the household?


I think we're well past the days where it falls to family and friends to outfit the couple who are moving out of their parents' homes for the first time with nothing to their names.


I want to throw a party where everyone is obligated to buy me presents because I am SINGLE!!!

AND NOT HAVING A BABY!

I want iPads and Apple gift cards and other techy things. ^_^
