My solution was to stop saying "I'll be there at five" and start saying, "I might show up". For work, I've become so scared of being late that I've now started showing up an hour early. I find I wake up at five in the morning [PANIC] OHMYGOD I OVERSLEPT AGAIN oh wait, no, OK, yeah but then don't go back to sleep instead of sleeping 'til 8. It still takes me about an hour and a half to leave the house, though, 'cause, you know, I have walls to stare at, coffee to drink, circles to walk in, pants to locate.
