I liked our offensive genius who couldn't run a D better than our offensive genius who can't run an offense. The former is actually useful for something; the latter is just in the way.

The good news for me? I grew up watching the Run 'N Shoot, so it was nice to see a team pile up tons of passing yards and move up and down the field despite little to no running game. Bad news? I could write textbooks on why that's a 10-6, One and Done team, best case scenario. Once you hit their 20 you can't spread the field and their willingness to give you one yard runs disappears. I used to get depressed when the Oilers were in the red zone, because until they hit the 20 there was a very good chance of a long TD pass, but in the red zone it was hopeless.

Denver was in the red zone five times and got a total of two FGs out of it. Their lone TD as a 45 yard heave. Meh. Denvers tackles are light years better than the Oilers were; Warren Moon was light years better than Kyle Orton. Someone call Jason Garrett....
