The problem here is that with the current state of our city, the only way to stear clear of political demonstrations is staying at home all day. You think that unbelievable? So did I until recently. Logical targets for demos are City Hall, State Parliament, Schlossplatz (biggest square in city centre) and of course the construction site itself, which is at the main station and extends into the park. It is all but impossible to do anything downtown without getting into the vicinity of one or more of those.
I'll be more enthusiastic about encouraging thinking outside the box when
there's evidence of any thinking going on inside it.
