I tend to be more festival related (like mince pies in the month up to Christmas etc) but....

I want to learn how to make those babies. They seem fun.

More stews and that sort of thing - heavier, thicker foods.

Seasonal drinks - generally lighter beers during the summer and heavier ones into the winter, stout and porter. Gin and tonic and pimms are for the summer, port for the winter. That sort of thing.

I agree totally on the port. I was only introduced to it a couple years ago, but I can definitely get behind a fall/winter custom of drinking that stuff. Particularly that one Andy let me try at the Michelin star restaurant.

By the way, how are you at reading poetry?
