side-by-side fridge/freezer with ice and water through the door
Lower freezer as a pull-out drawer (as opposed to side-opening door - ick!) is the best option.
Now if only we had one
Otherwise, I quite approve of your kitchen.

I need to be able to see as much stuff in my freezer as possible, because I'm not organized enough to just know what's in there

But the french door fridge with the bottom freezer is nice too, just WAY more expensive atm than we'd ever consider. Maybe that will change when the next big thing hits
It also might mean I have to give up some of my cabinet/countertop space, but I think we're reconfiguring everything anyway when the time comes, and what I lose to make room for a bigger fridge I'll gain in adding an island.
If you are from Betelgeuse, please have one of your Earth friends read what I've written before you respond. Or try concentrating harder.
