She'd still be too freaking stupid to be trusted as County Dog Catcher, but she'd just be a naive idealist who did nothing wrong; she was kidding around with her future husband at a college party following graduation. It's not like she was doing coke off a hooker. It LOOKS awful though, and that's what most people are going to see because they're predisposed against all politicians and thus disinclined to look further. She should've had the sense to know that, and she clearly knew someone was taking pictures even if she'd forgotten since.

Calling it sexist makes the whole thing moot. Maybe it was a slip of the tongue and she just meant in the sense of being all about sex (i.e. salaciousness, not gender) but I can't crawl inside her head and defend her on that basis. We all know how that word is understood and so did she, which puts me in the unenviable position of having to condemn the Democrat here even as I defend Sarah Palins condemnation of Newsweek for the VERY sexist cover they did of her (she does have nice legs though.
