Normally they do, at least part of the time, but there were extenuating circumstances.

Football teams do it regularly before important matches, and since it was in the UK I assume they were practising at a football ground, so the arena people should know how to keep people off the stands.
First and foremost, visiting teams don't always have the luxury of a 120 yd X 53.33... yd field to practice on, especially during the regular season when they're only in town for a week. Which brings us to another problem: Most of the available practice fields in the UK will be about 10m too short, because unlike a soccer pitch NFL fields have endzones an additional 10 yds long. To top it all off, the Broncos are from Denver, which means the UK is about 9 hours ahead of their biological clocks, and it'll take them a day to get there plus another to get back, meaning that with game day factored in they have about four days when they CAN practice (SF, of course, faced the same problem). The only good news there is that the fact Wembley can't completely close its roof won't bother Denver; they're used to playing in the snow.
So, yeah, I figure they both practiced at Wembley, though probably not at the same time, at least not often. Makes you wonder what the '9ers thought when they kept looking up to see an opposing coach with a camera; puts that whole "Denver told the League themselves" thing in perspective (even then, McDaniels didn't tell them, Bowlen and the front office did; McDaniels didn't say anything, unless you believe the allegations he told his tape-meister to destroy all the evidence when he found out about it).

Hopefully this will finally get McDaniels fired from the Broncos

I think the evidence should be thrown out based on their sucking in that game. *NM*

The LEAGUE said no one could tape it, and virtually shouted it at the Cheatriots after Spygate.

So they were allowed to watch but not tape?

Well, I suppose they could spend all their time watching the '9ers practice if the skipped their own

Probably would still be illegal, but I'm not sure it could be done so easily.

My point is that all they'd have to do is tell the people running Wembley

Closed practices are fairly common, but I'm not sure how it works when BOTH teams are "visitors".

Logical, but there was a definite time crunch, which affected both teams.
