My opinion on this is split. While it forces the Senate to finally deal with the issue, it looks like the GOP throwing a temper tantrum by doing so in this way. Like Tom, I'm afraid that several universally-agreed-upon items (for all parties concerned) could wind up under the bus on this.
Tell me again how Democratic partisanship alienated the concilatory Republicans after the '08 election....
