I already have English and Russian. I can add German as a keyboard to resolve most German issues (ä, ö, ü and ß) since the only difference is that y and z are shifted. Can I somehow customize the keyboard to move them both back to where they were?
At that point the only remaining problem is French. The French keyboard is just messed up. Canadian French keyboards have the same layout as US keyboards, but I can't figure out how to type all the variant possibilities for accents:
â à ç é ê è î ì ô ò û
On top of all of this, I now have Windows 7 so I'm still figuring out how to find things that I knew how to find before.

Political correctness is the pettiest form of casuistry.

Hitting "Alt+144" every time I need to type É is not really a solution.

How many languages do you need to routinely access? Are you opposed to keyboard stickers?

Four, I guess.

Agreed. If I want to write in French, I have to use Word.

Obviously the solution is to be less educated. Who needs French?

Use a UK keyboard instead of US, and press Alt GR + vowel for acute accents.
