roads cleared only to allow 1.5 lanes of traffic and massive piles of snow everywhere that block one's line of sight and make driving somewhat treacherous, then yes, I'm snowed in. If you mean "they haven't gotten around to plowing and I am stuck in my house," then no. Our street was plowed initially yesterday afternoon, then yesterday evening they came back and did a more thorough job. Today I was able to get to the store to buy much-needed baby acetominophen and adult Advil as both my wife and daughter came down with a nasty cold (which started on the evening of the 24th, following the law that says you always get sick right before an extended weekend).
Political correctness is the pettiest form of casuistry.
