Ill. I took a flu jab and seem to have gotten the flu. That is just not right.


Flu jabs don't give you the flu. They may give you a mild temperature and a sore arm, they don't give you the flu. They do not, however, prevent you from getting anything other than actual influenza, so you may well have caught one of the other dozens of viral illnesses doing the rounds at the moment. It only took me about a day to get better, so I suppose it was just a mild reaction to the dead viruses.
