I knew this was a La Niña year (as, I believe, was last year) but didn't realize how vulnerable that part of Australia is to flash floods. Again, hopes and prayers damage beyond this point is limited to property rather than people (not that that's trivial, but it is replaceable and preferable). Tying up the crocs seems rather odd though, I have to say; you don't want them to escape, obviously, but you don't want them to become trapped underwater either.
