One of my goals for 2011 is to run a half marathon, and to run a full marathon.

Anyone else doing anything totally awesome this year?


I'm working up to a 10-miler this summer and possibly a half in the fall.



10 miles is a good intermediate stage, especially if you've done 10ks.

I'm hoping to do a full marathon this autumn, around the beginning of October; I'm not entirely sure I'll be ready, but it'd be awesome.


...only 5ks so far. But I hope do a 10k in the spring, and the 10-miler I've got my eye on is late in the summer (I did the associated 5k last year).

When is your half? October's a long way away and should be enough time to be well-prepared, but you won't lose anything by reaching for it in any case Good for you!
