The Dems bent over backward trying to compromise on health care law, and all the GOP did was stick their fingers in their ears shouting "Hell No!" It got raped in sub-committee and finally the Dems just said "eff it" and pushed what they had through. They had the numbers to do that for a year before it happened.

And so we're left with a leftist law that doesn't go as far as it could have because the GOP was more interested in sabotage than compromise. Had the Dems just bullied from the beginning, it likely would have been a better law.

Oh well, live and learn.
