I am coping well enough with the cold. It just annoys me when I am caught unprepared, but then again, I probably should be prepared for cold and wet. I am in Scotland, after all.

I do wish I wasn't spending the best days of the Scottish summer back home in 40 degree celsius.

It's ok. You might strike it lucky and be here for the 3 days of Scottish Summer.
