I assume it is a little better than what I learned on King of the Hill:P I have always meant to learn more about eastern religion and have but it has been in bits and pieces and I don’t always put them together the right way.

I am not sure if it is simply because I was raised with it but one of the advantages Christianity seems to have is it is simpler and easier to understand. By advantage I don't it is better just that it is easier to spread and understand. Accept JC as the son of god and that he died for your sins and you get to go to heaven. The rest is just details.

Unless you get into the contemplative aspects of Christianity...

I was raised within a very strong Methodist Christian family and it never really took for me because everyone was still miserable. They seemed to want someone/thing/God to fix the state of their existence. And not take responsibility for really working on the vast amounts of anger or other emotional states that were out of control flaring uncontrollably.
Also, when I was 12 y.o I was already firm in the idea that there was such a thing as re-incarnation and karma (cause and effect). Not from studying those subjects in depth, but they just made sense to me. It always seemed a waste of souls not to have some come back into different forms for whatever reason. . .
