The goal of this survey is not only to entertain you, but to actually NOT get moved. It's like I'm a newb or something. argh.

1. How old where you when you got your first job?

2. What was your first job?


Sales/Office Work

3. How long did you work there?


6 weeks. But I went back there for 4 months each of the next two summers.

4. What's the oldest person you know who is (or was) sponging off their parents still (I do NOT mean college students, but say that guy down the street who lets his gf pay for their fun, and lives with his mom - all while not going to school or working for no other reason than... he doesn't feel like getting a job)


30 maybe?

5. (If you live in a part of the world where you have to drive) How old were you when you got your driver's license?


Got my 'L' at 16. 'N' at 17. Full license at 19. It's a graduated driving system where I'm from.

6. Did you wait way past the time when you COULD get your license?


L the same day, N about two weeks, and full license about 3 months late, but I was out of town for the full license or else I would have gotten it right away.

7. Did you graduate from college?


I'm about to graduate from University this spring. Two weeks and I'm done exams.

8. What did you major in?


Aerospace Engineering

9. Did you get a job in your field?


Trying to.

10. If not, what do you do? Did you need a degree to get this job?
