The things we do for family, eh? Tim Send a noteboard - 16/04/2011 12:36:44 PM
It sucks that you're holding up your end of the family obligations and they're not doing the same for you. And I know it seems so fucked up that you can't really say anything – how can be be ruder to point out that someone else is being rude than for them to do it in the first place, right? Etiquette is pretty weird sometimes. Especially in families – it can be like international diplomacy. Probably because in both situations, you know you can never escape having to live them the people that are annoying you.

I'm also sorry that your ability to appreciate British accents has been taken away from you. Maybe if you watch The King's Speech enough times it'll come back?

About wanting girls instead of boys: boys are hard to deal with when they're the age of those kids, but girls are hard to deal with when they're slightly older (young teenagers). Both have stages of life when they give their parents a hard time – it's just that the timing is different. So make sure you have a boy first and a girl second, otherwise you'll get both happening at the same time .

If they are your husband's family, can't he talk to them? - 16/04/2011 07:24:33 PM 352 Views
