Glad to see you did, even though I know a lot of folks in Bama didn't. Now if only Brad would check in my mind would be completely at rest.

So, other than all hell breaking loose and a week with no power, how have you been and what have you been doing? How lame is that we're blowing off apparently all our plans for manned space exploration?

I've been fine. Both in the past week and for the past few years.

Morale at NASA is pretty low, I would say. I'm a contractor though... my company will find hard problems for me to solve, from NASA or whoever.

Can't really blame NASA there; just one of many disappointments in the new regime, but perhaps this is the wrong time to dwell on those. But I suppose that's an upside to contracting; maybe you can help China to the moon (bringing them back is optional. )
