I copied the problem word for word on here. I may have to track my professor down and find out what he wanted. I hate not knowing the answer to questions.
I've a notion that he problem pasted a fairly classic problem and left it out, that's fairly easy to do, what got my eye, since I'm not a chemist, was the mass of the gas, takes a pretty big beaker to contain a couple pounds of gas at fairly normal pressure and temp, hundreds to thousand of liters, but it looked like the amount the water should weigh and there was no other reason to mention water.
I don't really see anyway that the problem could be solved, but I wouldn't utterly rule it out, again not a chemist, unless someone pops in with a solution I'd saying an email to the prof would be appropriate

Isn't there some kind of information missing? Like a volume?

Yeah, it seemed like the water was kind of randomly thrown in there. I gave all the info I had. *NM*

Seems like a measurement on water is left out here
