well...but are they separate in this instance? and hmm... upon reading it

I get tired of people hiding behind popular things to argue for the funding of unpopular things. If the people supporting planned parenthood are so worried about cervical cancer and STDs then they should separate them from the abortion issue instead of trying to hide behind them.
It sounded to me like the lawmakers themselves chose to pick out abortion as an issue in their bill?
The pity is, after reading the digest for that section of the bill, the REST of it...actually really isn't that bad. There's even some good in it (like requiring abortions be done by qualified doctors).
I'm not sure I'm reading it right, but it seems they are defining abortion as the termination of a FETUS after first trimester? Granted, it's this point where you'll discover abnormalities that may cause one to wish to perform an abortion for health reasons, but I'd think most unwanted pregnancies would be terminated before this point? And it does say that exceptions can be made. If I read it right, could it potentially affect things much at all?

Do you believe that Planned Parenthood's real purpose is the nefarious support of abortion?
