But apparently nobody in the US knows her, strangely enough.
Apparently you are the only one who cares that I got to meet her after seven years! Well, it was a big deal to me.

I suppose I must have known way back when that you hadn't actually met her in person yet, but when I read it now I went "huh? they hadn't met before?". Hence the not being sufficiently impressed, I guess. :P
