What's really bizarre is that they decided to put Darrell Royals name on it because until Vince Young came along he was the only coach in living memory to "win" a National Championship at Texas. The only problems, of course, are that 1) Darrell Royal isn't dead and 2) the UT WWI veterans to whom the stadium was dedicated (and by extension all subsequent UT vets) now get second billing behind a former coach. It really is a very annoying town. :[
