I'd never used one until I moved over here, and the little mouse/mouse button/screen resizer square gives me hell. So much so I've dug out a USB mouse to use now and turned off the built in mousepad. In this case, while I was sure I wasn't touching the darned thing after I hit the button to submit, it appears likely I was because I the little "processing" circle just kept spinning until I rushed to move the cursor off the "submit" button, by which time the thread had been posted a half dozen times (literally).
