It's all about presentation; Ed Wood understood that. - Edit 1

Not like a real hornet, but like the star of some Ed Wood movie about The Hornet That Ate Poughkeepsie. I was hoping this series of articles was heavily sensationalized (Wikipedia says the stories about penis invading candiru needs citations... ) and am deeply disturbed that this one seems to live up to its billing. And, no "disturbed" and forms of it is not my new favorite word; "alienation" is still way ahead of it.

Hey, I qualified the candiru story by noting that only one case was actually documented. I just qualified it after the horrifying descriptions. :p

Reminds me of the Springfield film festival where they asked Krusty why he voted for Mr. Burns movie:

"Let's just say it moved me--TO A BIGGER HOUSE! Uh oh, I said the quiet part loud and the loud part quiet.... "
But yes, the Asian Giant Hornet is all too real and all too terrifying.

Yeah, googling took me to Cracked.com (among other places) where I learned about the Bot Fly, too. Incidentally, would you happen to know where to bulk buy DDT?
I'm going to be doing my best to base these articles entirely on fact, at least relative to my framework of rhetorical embellishment. The animal world is crazy enough just as it really is.

No lie.
