I'm OK with a President who believes the planet is 6000 years old as long as he doesn't require the schools to teach that. With Romney, you just... don't know. Will we get the gun controlling NARAL donor who signed a law requiring health insurance and raised taxes to balance the MA budget and get an improved S&P rating? Or will we get the pro-life, gun loving "lifelong hunter" (who's never had a hunting license) who condemns both the Obamacare copy of his own healthcare legislation and raising federal taxes to get an improved S&P rating? But that's the kind of behavior I expect from senior leaders of the Mormon church; when asked about his religious beliefs, Huckabee declared them and said he wouldn't try to legislate them, but when Romney is asked he shakes his head sadly at religious prejudice and changes the subject, like all senior Mormon leaders. That's unnerving enough in an organization actively seeking increased control of banking, industry, education and government, but when one of its leaders is running for President the fact he's a walking talking question mark worries me greatly.
