There are fears of "tribal" warfare, and reprisals and all sorts. The rebels really need to take this or I'm sure Gaddafi will exact a horrible revenge.

but you know, one thing at a time. If they take Tripoli with minimal casualties, that'll be reason for celebration alright, despite the difficult steps ahead.
