Seems pointlessly hurtful. It doesn't address any of the topics being discussed and comes across as useless name calling. A person calling another person an asshole without provocation or reason could legitimately be considered a douchebag. Metaphorically speaking. Of course, a great many insults are more metaphors than they are literal accuracies. I mean, a person being referred to as a douchebag isn't being called such because he or she is full of a mild cleaning solution intended to be squeezed into a vaginal opening. Besides, I think it's fair to say hygienic douche bags are two words, whereas we might tend to use the derogatory douchebag as one word.
