The rivalry was part of the fun and people understood that. I had someone get offended the other day because I was wearing a shirt that said "USMC keeping things safe for the Army since 1775". He felt the need to call me out in Target for wearing it because his son was the Army. I told him to ask his son why it was funny. No one who really understands military culture would be offended by that shirt because the inner service rivalry is so much a part of the culture. Sports used to be like that until people spent to much time on the ESPN's webpage calling each every vile name they could think of simply because they support their home team. It is like getting pissed at someone for loving their mom more than they love yours.

Yeah, I'd say it was a disagreement of an unrelated nature. *NM* - 23/08/2011 12:21:45 AM 70 Views
