I realize why he meant so much to some people random thoughts Send a noteboard - 06/09/2011 02:16:36 AM
I was two when his show first aired but to be honest I always thought it was boring and puppets were creepy. I liked him ok but not the rest of the show. Sesame Street and Captain Kangaroo were always my favorites. I think maybe he seemed odd to me because I didn't know anyone who acted even a little like him. I mean who changes shoes and puts on a sweater when they get home? That always bothered me when I was little.

It is funny but I never realized until I was much older that my generation was the first generation to have TV programing for preschoolers.
