I posted these last year, and I seem to remember people liking them. So here they are in all their ridiculous glory: The National Costumes from the 2011 Miss Universe Pageant! Complete with hilarious commentary!

And maybe Ireland or Guatemala for sheer randomness and some semblance of authenticity (if you ignore Miss Guatemala's terrible choice of shoes, anyway).

The Angolan girl is cute, too, her dress not so much.

And my vote for most tasteless and most shamelessly nationalistic is a three-way-split between France, the USA and, unexpectedly, Chile.
