I take no offense, but I did read the little suggestions, and I still don't totally understand how things work. There are posts I've seen on the ticker dealie that I haven't seen on my feed (and not just those to people who aren't my friends - I know those won't show on my page. I'm talking about friends' status updates). I've tried clicking around and educating myself, but it's not as easy as you make it sound. And I'm reasonably savvy. What about those who aren't?
In addition (and it turns out this was true previously as well), I can't understand how I can select "friends only" and still have everyone and their brother see what I post as long as one of their friends replies to me. Is there a way to keep it so that everyone my replier knows can't then see my post? I don't care that much about it, except that I'm annoyed that I don't (apparently) get to select as much privacy for myself as I thought. Also, I'd like to share this with my family, some of whom DO care.

I'm not sure why you think I don't know that or what warranted an eyeroll, but okay.

I've read every response in this thread, and no one seems to understand how this stuff works.

Well then maybe there should be explanations that accompany these changes

There ARE explanations. People just ignore them.

I could be wrong too; it's happened before.
Pretty sure I have it right, though.

That would be because it is not super clear.
