There was a bit of a hiccup in the beginning because SOMEONE felt that breathing on his own was unnecessary when he first fell asleep (you bastard). Other than that, all went well.
We thought about giving snoop a replacement pair for below, but we figured that'd be false advertising.

It may be necessary sometimes, but let us not pretend it is trivial, let alone irrelevant; if his life has NO change the surgery was pointless endangerment. He is almost certain to gain weight and be less assertive; whether or not that is a good or bad thing remains to be seen. Also, breeding him is no longer an option, and IIRC you noted that prostate cancer is less likely. That does not sound like a life that remains the same.
