Per my response to StarBecca, that sounds more geeky than nerdy.

New girlfriend, upon seeing my array of toothbrushes:
Gf: "What's with all the toothbrushes?"
Me: "I just get excitable as to choice--like to have my options open."
Gf: "What's with all the toothbrushes?"
Me: "I just get excitable as to choice--like to have my options open."
Having a wide array of toothbrushes with separate specific functions, and a valid extensive rationale for restricting each one to its particular purpose, would be more nerdy to me. If you are just obsessive about toothbrushes in general and like a variety of options just for the sake of having them, that strikes me as more geeky. Just my personal opinion; if you spend the next few months (or years, or decades) learning all you can about toothbrushes until you can speak authoritatively about them for hours, I will be happy to award you your Toothbrush Nerd Badge.
