I enjoyed them a great deal. I went through a kick when I was really into tanks and the history of tank warfare. Of course, I have to read them in English (but he may have written his memoirs in English or in close combination with English translators - if I remember correctly, he was essentially writing them for his Allied captors while awaiting trial for war crimes) Achtung! Panzer would have been written originally in German, of course.
