That if this thread is not going to be allowed to die or get locked, that you at least edit the original message to explain what this post is about, as the "Somehow, I just could not resist doing this" bit is a touch arcane and it's not until somewhere around post #250 that anyone even bothers mentioning it's some obscure tradition. I had absolutely no clue this was some tradition until about ten minutes ago and I'm hardly a newb to the site, having lurked on WoTmania all the way back to 2002 and having been an active poster since RJ died 4 years ago. If I don't know, I'm assuming a lot of other people don't either, and I doubt I'm the only one who without knowing that regarded this thread's non-stop resurrection with a level of irritation exceeding what many feel about the Twitter Feed, people's late night "Hey, I'z is drunk" threads, the political threads, or Joel's habit of resurrecting dead threads. I'm a big believer in 'If you don't like it, don't click on it', but it would probably be a good idea to include a bit of detail, guidance, and history in the OP for this message. Though frankly I think you ought to get the thing locked out and re-open a new one in a few months with explanation, preferably under throw-away User Name so those of us who are of a mind to do so can just block the ID when its non-stop recurrence passes the level of being mildly irritating.
