Political Board = Chat Drama x 9000 *NM*

Just curious to know opinions. Perhaps I need to read this board more often, but lately it seems Politics/Current Events dominate the post categories. I wonder if it might improve moods to not see so many political "discussions" in the "Community" section of this site, but maybe it'd be the same in terms of general interaction and activity instead of a further fracturing weakening participation.

I remain unconvinced a few voices can drown out the rest in an internet environment.

All the political crap would go there, like it does on those other sites.

Perhaps some might feel more comfortable posting if it were separate?

Probably the easiest solution is to have a filter instead, save the new board for a "Writers Board"

That's arguably flawed reasoning, there's apparently considerably fewer posters overall now

To a certain extent. But the site's left lost LiterateDog and Chorabliss.

If people want to keep the place alive and interesting for themselves then they can do these things:

there would be so little traffic on the community board that you could shut it down
