Like not caring if I didn't get the dishes washed because it didn't bother me to leave them until morning. Or not caring enough about feeding myself to muster up anything more than cold cereal or a bag of Doritos for dinner.

We still leave our dishes to the next day because the hours Tim studies suck. But I completely hear you on the food thing. The days of pretending that ice cream is a suitable dinner are long gone.

And wives (like people) are all different. Yours might not mind your occasional marathon Skyrim sessions. But then she might have whole other issues that you can't anticipate. Like she might hate you wearing jeans. You'll just have to figure it out together
