I assume you know have to give a proper lead back?

Depends on whether all the trump are in; then it is easy enough: Lead doubles till I have none, then anything that walks, and hopefully partner pitches all their offs before I lose the lead. If on lead while there are trump out, it is trickier, because if I have any left I have to decide whether to try pulling the rest or leading my winners and letting partner pitch offs/count at the risk of someone trumping. Fortunately, I can usually get a good idea of what partner does NOT have covered by what they did not lead.

Signalling does not reach the same level of sophistication as in bridge, so more guesswork and luck is involved (one of several reasons I still prefer and strongly recommend bridge; I really need to start playing duplicate and eliminate luck altogether.)
