The San Antonio Zoo is on the itinerary. It looks very nice. I'll have a native Texasian with me too, which will help. We also plan on hitting some of the barrier island parks along the Gulf coast, and the aircraft carrier in Corpus Christi, plus the drive out west to the Grand Canyon. Might stop at Carlsbad along the way, depending on time.


The aircraft carrier is the Lexington, which was stationed in Pensacola when I was a kid. I have great memories of touring it.. it was a yearly field-trip in school.
