Here is how I imagine it:

Host: "Contestant #1, please answer the following question: True or False, the earth the centre of the solar system?"

C1: (thinks about it for a while) "True?"

Host: "I'm sorry, that's incorrect... Contestant #2?"

C2: (Confidently) True!

Host: "Once again, true is incorrect. Contestant #3?"

C3: (Immediately) "Your mother was at the center of my solar system last night, Trebek!"


My favorite ever ignorant contestant was someone who couldn't correctly guess the next letter to the following puzzle on Wheel of Fortune:

Captain _ir_ of the Starship Enterprise.

"I'll take a 'd', Pat"
