Again, what bothers me is not that he made an embarrassing gaffe, but the prospect he actually believes his opponents so monolithically evil they would create an abortion resort, and that someone who views "the other side" that way is legislating, and expected to negotiate with that "other side" in good faith. Not to mention the point raised by the guy who responded to his FB post: HTF does someone like that get elected? Answer: He represents millions of our family and neighbors....

My faith in democracy was not at an all time high to begin with, but this did not help.
