It is seriously pathetic to see this supposed new-New Dealer start from compromised positions on major legislation (to the extent he ever bothers writing any, rather than making speeches while delegating legislation to incompetent flunkies he will not let play hardball,) then retreat right in the face of inevitable howls FROM the right. The end result is conservatives he tried to placate still hate him, liberals he abandoned trying hate him, too, and moderates/independents who elected him to accomplish something hate him for doing nothing. Obama could give a clinic on alienating an entire country in under a year despite starting with 70% approval ratings.

So, yeah, tell Wayne to go for it; at this point I would take Hillary or almost anyone over what I have. Again I say, if I had wanted Romney I would have voted for him; the prospect of Romney vs. Romney this November fills me with disgust and dread.
