My wife and I are fairly tied between Hardees/Carls Jr and Sonic for favorite fast food burger... until we went to Five Guys, which has by and large taken the crown for us. We didn't care for Smashburger, and Burger King and Wendy's are big disappointments. We go to McDonalds for breakfast somewhat regularly, oddly enough.


I actually love White Castle burgers, though I will fully admit that they are super odd and crazy. I like them in the category of "something that isn't really a burger," I think. Arby's is also in that category. :P

I rarely buy fast food burgers, so I don't know what my fave would be of the others. I wasn't impressed with 5 guys, but that could have been because it was super hyped for me.


But the burger I had there was super disappointing.

Me: I don't want it well done.

1Guy: That's the only way we make them.

Me: Ew. Please?

1Guy: No, but trust me, it won't be dry!

...I shouldn't have, because it totally was. xx(

Next time I flirted a little with the grill guy and got him to take the burger off when I wanted him to, and it was much better. I don't want to have to whore myself out every time I want a burger though. Even as rare (ha!) as that is.
