1. How much debt did you accumulate while in college (or are tracking to accumulate for you current students)?


Around $26,000.

2. What are your loan terms? How long and how much per month?


My loans are all federal, so they have grace periods. I have paid off the unsubsidized loans (Stafford and Perkins) since the interest still accumulates: this came to about $8000 of the total (including existing interest). The remainder of my loans are subsidized Stafford loans, which will stay in a grace period as long as I'm in graduate school. Hopefully I will be able to pay those off quickly once I graduate.

3. What was your major/area of study?


Physics.

4. If you had a chance to do everything again (school, major, debt amount), would you? What would you have changed, if anything?


Yes, I would do it again. I was quite satisfied with the academic and research opportunities at my undergrad university. They also gave me some good scholarships and financial aid.
