Soon, I will move out of my hole in Williamsburg, and into a new hole, but in the Forest Hills Gardens. It's a beautiful, beautiful hole. All utilities included in the rent, as well as cable, parking (the Gardens is private parking only), and laundry. I also have a backyard, a really nice one in comparison to my 'backyard' in Brooklyn.

Oh gosh, I can't wait, I'm going to put down the security deposit next week and sign the lease, and it's mine; my credit was approved today!! Unfortunately, move in is August 1st, so I have to wait.

On the other negative side, I have to announce to my current roommates that I'll be moving out. One of them is going to be pissed, or depressed, or something between those two points. He really thinks I want to live in Williamsburg forever with him, he even said if we make enough money, let's kick out the other roommates and split the apartment alone (1300$ a month ... to live in a basement in Williamsburg ... ?).

I thought about it for the past couple months and I've decided very strongly that I'm ready for this next step of getting my own place and being fully responsible for myself. It's a little daunting, possibly a little frightening, but I'm waiting for it to happen now. Two months and a few days!!

I'm trying to figure out how to put it softly to my roommate, but in the end of the day, it'll be hard to hide the glee from my face when I say I'm moving into my own place. No more roommates for a long time at least!
