Those don't usually get stuck in stirrups, so I must presume you were doing something silly like riding in athletic shoes or something :P

I was wearing a pair of running shoes of some variety. I was around eight at the time and didn't have much of a cop about what I was doing. I've ridden a horse about twice since.
Mocking aside, that super sucks :( I'm glad you walked away only a little mentally damaged :P

Yeah, I was plied with food from McDonalds afterwards which at the time felt like fitting compensation.
