Plus I can never resist a good Christ figure. I also like that he was raised as just a normal guy and want to BE just a normal guy, but recognizes a great global need only he can fill. It is more a matter of a common man driven by duty and public service than it is, say, an independently wealthy vigilante driven by childhood psychosis....
