Fine: I am sorry I did not say, "And testicular cancer, known to be associated with steroid abuse." Joel Send a noteboard - 28/08/2012 06:20:03 AM
Happy? In digging around for further corroboration (which I provided in response to Isaac) I found places like a site called "Right Wing News" similarly demanding Sports Illustrated apologize for writing article with same contention back in 2006.

Look, there are plenty of legitimately honorable things about America: Lance Armstrong just does not appear to be one of them. Just because he repeatedly trounced the "cheese-eating surrender monkeys" in their own house does not mitigate cheating to do it, nor does the fact nearly everyone else in the races was cheating, too. Telling our kids to destroy their bodies by cheating their way to athletic success and national honor is not exactly "truth, justice and the American way."

I just did. Using someone's life-threatening illness in an attempt to discredit them is disgusting. - 27/08/2012 04:41:52 AM 554 Views
Using an illness doping commonly causes as evidence of doping is reasonable. - 27/08/2012 04:57:01 AM 647 Views
What is your source that it 'commonly causes' it? - 27/08/2012 06:15:39 AM 727 Views
You are right, I should not have said, "causes," but "is associated with." - 27/08/2012 07:38:36 AM 798 Views
So, you screwed the pooch and have been proven wrong. Time for you to apologize. *NM* - 28/08/2012 05:00:51 AM 282 Views
